⚡️🇨🇳 NEW - Bitcoin mining has reportedly quietly resumed in China despite the ban in 2021.

Reuters reports that the country even contributes about 14% of the global hashrate, ranking third.

Miners have resurfaced in low-cost regions with energy surpluses such as Xinjiang and Sichuan, where new facilities are being built.

CryptoQuant estimates that 15% to 20% of global Bitcoin mining could currently be coming from China.
