@kravietz 🦇 I read his writeup and while it is somewhat... naive? or maybe manipulative? I still don't get the impression he is apologetic of Putin or changing his position radically.

I don't see where he frees Russia from responsibility or takes it as granted but rather explores possible ways out of it. Obviously "forever war" is exaggeration as no wars last forever but otherwise so far it goes just like he says and will likely drag on for quite some time unless something external happens (like the war on Iran).

If we dismiss various unrealistic scenarios such as SBU infiltrating Kremlin and kidnapping core leadership or something we end up with outcomes he describes or some hybrid of them.
