That sounds like a nice idea in theory, but it means that in practice, some souls will be more popular than others. So like, imagine you have been reincarnating for hundreds of generations, and then you observe as there is a massive population boom around you, followed by a slow decline. You now know that IF you die now, there is a good chance that if you do not achieve nirvana in THIS generation then you will get completely buried under all these newly disturbed souls FOREVER.
