Thanks for your perspective. I have no problem at all with other opinions. I'm just one of those people who think non-transactional data should be contained and the old OP_RETURN limit should be preserved. I can also definitely see where this stubborn push is coming from, which so far still hasn't been justified with a real need. And especially how it was implemented. But I also see how the BIP-110 advocates have overshot the mark in some cases. You can see that in my other comment replies too.
I do think I'm capturing the core of the topic correctly.
