I hope. I fear it was coercion. Maybe a kidnapping or variation thereof. But I hope it wasn’t. His disgraceful exit feels like the currency he needed to buy freedom or anonymity. It was just so unlike him and his way of thinking.

He did write that book How To Vanish so I pray it was by choice as well and he's free and happy
