Ranching is hard as hell sometimes. Today there were 3 lambs born. Normally our lambing season starts May 1 to catch the spring flush and avoid lambing in freezing temps. But this fall the rams escaped and got in with the girls, this has never happened to us in the past 3 years. I am really hoping this is it, but it looks like several other Ewe are bagged up too.

This made my mile long sheep drive this morning that usually takes a half hour at the most take nearly 3 hours (lambs are slow and good moms won't abandon them). Its going to be an incredibly long treck to Spring now so please pray for my fitness and sanity!

Will do. We had a similar problem with these guys. Fortunately it does not fall on me to get them through the winter. https://blossom.primal.net/411ff9d1435b6f71735c616d83c48d64154f76da7906347edc852937f44c1ad5.jpg
