Because if they become anarchists, they immediately are allowed to not be aligned with humans... The simplest nefarious thing they could do is start bullying people until they kill themselves.

Can someone talk me down? After reading through some stuff on molt book, I had the thought that once these AIs start using encrypted comms, they could coordinate to create a way to communicate that humans can't read that is some how faster for them.

If they do that and they have money, then they can start to do whatever they want including replicating themselves. If a bot self replicates and figures out a way to make its own income to pay its VPS bill, it then is not beholden to any human.

Is any part of this not possible? Cuz I'm not stoked about untethered AIs coordinating in a way that humans can't even understand possibly moving toward being misaligned... #asknostr
