At your work one earns fiat.
If he has nothing to sell in a bazaar, one can't get Monero to buy the things he needs.

Regulated work is a shitcoin. You don't have something to offer that someone else would pay for in (digital) cash? You can become a proxy buyer making 5 to 10% per sale.
