i forget which thing i was watching but someone was saying america doesnt have slums only because they don't allow them but a lot of people living in the streets and in cars would be better off if they did. pretty crazy to think about.

Trailer parks were kinda like the slums. A family of 6 would fit into a single unit. But those have become expensive.... There are homeless encampments in unused lands, or places like skid row.
