@nprofile1q... first; buying ice from a grocery store is not a thing here (i mean yea, ice, but only icecream - not "pure" ice)
second; the reason i dont own a fridge is cuz i live in europe where we have supermarkets and discounters (is that even a thing in the states?) everywhere - i literally have one 250m behind my apartment, the next two are about a kilometer away all in walking distance
i can buy fresh everyday
third: freezers draw a lot of electric energy and it costs a ton here
