Sounds like Nostr is in no danger of shutdown because billionaires aren’t going to give millions to keep relays online, in complete contrast to the FUD from censorious Mastodon/ActivityPub apologists. I’d guess that all of these multimillion dollar grants are either being wasted on bullshit or going towards development, but we can be assured that relay operation is not burdensome and the network is here to stay.
