The larger point being that the US Constitution is a lie, or rather all the flowery language in it is a lie and the hard reality is completely indicative of what you'd expect to see if you made a country, and it's constitution, out of what amounted to overgrown "Company Towns."

America is the locus and high church of capitalism for a reason - that reason is because it's the country that was designed by, and for, capitalists, from its VERY INCEPTION.
