@nprofile1q... i never had issues with krita that way... i had once a whole computer crash due to of memory overflow because of another app and i was able to restore the krita file without any issues - sure i lost a few paintstrokes, but meh...

i recommend not using any other app while drawing, or at least only use apps with secure memory slot...
