⚡🇺🇲 NEW - A Texas mother said crypto helped her overcome financial abuse following her difficult divorce.

Karin found herself without a bank in the midst of a contentious divorce, and crypto helped her become financially independent.

She was ordered to sell her BTC and ETH, which she had hidden on a centralized exchange, so that the amount could be divided equally between the former spouses.

But she refused, arguing that the funds were a lifeline, particularly for providing for her children.

Karin had to teach her own lawyers, the opposing counsel, and the judge how to use a blockchain explorer to verify that the funds had not moved, in order to prove her good faith.

“The fact that there were private keys, and that I was the only one who had them, gave me the ability to be so bold and defend myself.”

And if she had Monero than no court would have anything to decide since it would be private. Who the heck is proud of having their wallets and possessions out there in display for others to decide on your life.
