well, between my experience with the esenler bus station, the ridiculous bullshit with tourist data sim gouging, the ridiculous variance between prices of food, the almost utter lack of milk and surprisingly small amount of ayran, lol the burek, ok, definitely better to get burek in yugo hah. idk, maybe taksim isn't the best place to be either, once you leave the area near the square it gets nasty pretty fast, and on the other side of the golden horn it's also pretty dirty. and yeah all the people who were nice were foreigners pretty much. and i did not like the constant presence and noise of the police, they are completely nuts, remind me of the idiotic behaviour of the bulgarian prison guards with their constant snort-sounding horns and sirens flashing for no reason.
