When I'm bored I go to iNaturalist and search for "ants" sorted by date. Here were the two newest ants and you could not ask for a better pair of examples of ant morphological diversity.

Leptomyrmex are called "spider ants" because they fold their gasters over their mesoma so they look like arachnids. Some even mimic an arachnid-like walk.
