PSA: @PayPerQ switched "memory" on by default. You might want to check this setting and switch it off if you care about privacy.

So they are careful to stress that no user id is sent to the model providers but they send a summary of all your past queries - which is strictly worse than a user id - with all your future requests and it's on by default.

So again: PPQ offers "private" models and promises that even non-private models won't get any identifiers to cross-reference distinct threads you have with those models but then decided it would be a good idea to send "user gets this prescription drug, user has daughter in daycare, user likes biergarten, user works with walletscrutiny".

For the record, I see this as PPQ having made a wrong call that can be fixed. Privacy once lost can never be re-gained, so I consider it very serious.
