It's annoying when someone comes to you with some error message, and they think you can tell them what went wrong, just because they think you're some kind of computer whisperer.

The computer is just a thing that does what the business process requires. You're in that particular system every day, I don't even know what it does. You're the domain expert, you know what data goes in and out. I'm just a computer guy.

It's even worse when they're right, and you *can* tell them what went wrong, even though you don't know that particular software, just because you're a computer whisperer.
