1) this is **very difficult** and **very expensive** and i don't think they will find much savings

2) the big AI labs are **constantly** tweaking their models to keep them from falling on their faces. unless you are using it for basic, repetitive tasks, whatever open-weight model you download today basically has an expiration date.
