My guess is this guy is from a big Christian family (as am I).
He mentioned that he started working at our company because he met one of the guys in my department (who is super Christian) at a summer camp, & that guy suggested he should apply for an opening. So probably a Christian family camp type deal.
Making people feel weird about their religious background (& family size is often directly related to that) doesn't help anyone. It just isolates people & makes it hard for them to branch out.
