Like, making art that another artist admires is a sure fire way to make sure they will be happy to hear from you.

Frankly, I just want to tell Guillermo del Toro what his films & his entire attitude towards art have done for me & how much I have been able to access my joy in creativity because of seeing the way he enjoys & celebrates the creativity of others.
