@nprofile1q... Unfortunately yes. The .art instance is remarkably quick on the trigger when it comes to instance blocks, and Fosstodon has been in their crosshairs multiple times over the years. They've blocked us, and unblocked and then reblocked again multiple times. It makes access to people on their site extremely unreliable. I wouldn't count on the ability to follow anybody on their instance any time soon.
