Without illegal aliens, those bars would have never been needed in the first place. Send them back where they can bloom where they were planted and support their own country. Spain doesn't need or want them.

Who gives a shit about GDP or how many bars shut down. If there is an economic downturn which is ok then the country adjusts. Chasing higher GDP year on year just inflates the ponzi harder

Agree with everyone….this is flawed logic. Fewer people need fewer things. Maybe focus on better quality, architecture, art, beauty, nature, food. Not bigger is better, better is better.

On what basis? I suspect as usual, it’s based on a shrinking population. Why are incentives for 3+indigenous child families not pushed? It would save money on language & social instability costs. Unless they prefer immigration over generational Spanish populations?
