What’s the point? If I want to use proton I’ll use it, and if I want to use Gmail I’ll use their app, so I don’t understand this.

I could be their target, I forward my gmail to proton, but I have no way to send an email without logging into gmail. I think that is the biggest thing. But not that big as i still have to login to google for other things, so opening gmail to send an email is easy…
