@Kalle Kniivilä I am not sure how it should work because in decentralized environment there is no central authority telling what to display where.
If you post something on server A and I reply to it on server B then it is just a post saying "this is in reply to..." and you can't tell server B to dismiss this reference. You can delete it on your server but not others. Then there is server C which got federated copies of both posts. So it only alters/deletes posts on behalf of people who posted them originally.
Maybe it can be done by adding some blocklist to each posting saying "don't list these replies under my post please" but sounds like something tricky and overcomplicated.
