one good thing about the AI stuff is that Indian and Chinese software engineering appear to be tearing themselves apart too.
very interested to see where things stand in ~3yrs. anecdotally, my impression is that parents everywhere are pulling their kids out of "learn to code" stuff because coding is "over." i feel really bad for the people graduating with CS degrees right now, but i bet the people graduating with those degrees in 2-3yrs are going to be hot items.
