If we have to rely on free Chinese AI to fix our overpriced American AI, we’ve got a serious problem.
China benefits from building on ideas & technologies first developed in America, then drives costs down & open sources competitive AI models at a fraction of the price. Meanwhile, U.S. companies bear enormous R&D costs & have to find a return on that investment.
Not good.
We’re in for a rough ride.
