Three years ago MicroStrategy / Strategy turned the Lightning Network into an internal payments rail, assigning every employee a Lightning address so they can send Bitcoin tips or bonuses instantly internally, no middlemen.

It’s thought that they likely run their own LND node on AWS for internal control & security, but will use external licensed partners to scale broader enterprise Lightning tools, which I expect they will enable as a future in the future.

Some of today’s known corporations that run Strategy analytic software:

As a business operator dealing firsthand with the reality of tariffs, it’s typically the importers who pay the higher costs upfront.
Most importers absorb as much of the increase as they can, then pass a portion to manufacturers, who in turn pass their share on to retailers & then the consumers.
In the end, everyone shares the burden & retail prices rarely return to prior levels.

In this case, however, it appears that only the first in line businesses/ importers may receive refunds.
Trump may decide to cut checks to US citizens as a stimulus, tbd.

🚨 Trump tariffs were just struck down by Supreme Court
& in the absence of tariff revenues, the money printing & debasement will continue to accelerate.

Court order means lots of companies will now get refunds from the unlawfully imposed Trump tariffs.

Treasury will be cutting checks back to businesses 💸
