But you should eat them for your own good.

1. Red meat.



“It causes cancer and disease” → Urban Legend

• If you choose lean cuts and quality meat, it's top-notch
• Grass-fed beef is my favorite
• Protein, iron, zinc, B12
• The problem isn't the meat, it's the junk you eat with it


2. Eggs.

“Too much cholesterol” → Urban Legend

• Complete protein
• Good fats
• Raises HDL (good cholesterol)
• Zero risk for most healthy people


3. Salt

“It raises blood pressure” → Urban Legend

• Essential for hydration, nerves, and muscles
• The problem is excess processed foods, not real salt
• Don't eliminate it. Use it wisely.


4. Butter

• “It clogs arteries” → Urban Legend
• Grass-fed butter is GOLD, it has vitamins A, D, E, and K
• Real, filling fat
• Use it wisely, not fearfully


5. Whole-fat dairy products

• “Fat makes you fat” → Urban Legend
• They provide fat-soluble vitamins (A and D)
• Essential fats
• They're more filling than skimmed dairy products
• A better choice if they're high-quality


6. Coffee

• “It dehydrates and upsets you” → Urban Legend
• Full of antioxidants
• Improves energy and focus

• Don't ruin it with cream and sugar. Drink it neat if possible.


7. Potatoes

• If you boil or bake them, they're 100% safe
• What's fattening is frying them and soaking them in bad oil
• You can eat them cooked and refrigerated for 48 hours for resistant starch

IMHO Swap 6. coffee with decaf tea and heavy cream and butter, and swap 7. potatoes for cabbage or asparagus cooked in bacon fat.

The only one I disagree with is potatoes - but not because it makes you fat. They are a bit high in oxalates and can cause inflammation in those who are sensitive
