Years after being falsely indicted and tortured by the government, if I login to my old Gmail there are subsequent law enforcement requests internationally. I know this for a fact.
I don’t care about being deanonymized. I’m not trying to post anonymously. I want to be able to speak, and hopefully at least provide an opportunity for my friends who I have lost contact with to find me here on Nostr. Tor by default is the best policy possible, and shows basic decency and cognizance for people’s human rights and safety. Relays that block Tor are hurting my ability to even exist as a person.
