Please note, I'm aware that there's lots of controversy about and hate toward the guy from various groups. I'm not saying he's right about everything (in particular, I'm unfamiliar with his political and doctrinal views), but generally I agree with his statements regarding creation/evolution.

Many of his points are self-evident based upon available evidence and logic. Problem is many people either never see the evidence or don't think to question what they've been taught logically. Then they just have a gut reaction of "crazy religious person don't listen to him."
