Many aren't paying attention, but a free banking system is beginning to emerge on top of bitcoin via the lightning network and ecash mints.
Development is happening at a rapid pace and its killer app...
I am more excited about what @calle is doing with cashu.me than any other thing in bitcoin right now.
Not only because in the end, as @jack points out, it is speed & convenience which brings people in, but because I want this for myself.
I find myself wanting to start bitcoin only businesses in my local area just as an excuse to showcase the tech ... it feels like when bitcoin clicks for the first time ...
