mastodon sucks. Almost barley anyone uses any of those 9000 mastodon severs. Only like 10 are popular and they don't have that many users. Mastodon will die eventually. Only paid relays will be good. 6 massive relays that are free will be junk

It certainly would help improve the user experience. Fewer relays would give users a more comparable “centralized big tech” experience where things just work, likes and follower stats mean something, less unexplained gaps in the timeline, etc.

And one client app for iOS and Android. App Store and Play Protect API for maximum safety. Also hard code the 5 relays so there's no confusion. Make the name easy to remember, like Tiktwostrbook.
