I also accidentally overstayed a tourist visa by 1 day in 2000. I have since worked offshore in gulf of whateveryouwannafuckingcallit which includes FBI background check etc for a TWIC card. I have a B1 business visa cause I've invested and involved in businesses there. And am still on the list for extra security check at the airports 🤣 the immigration guys last time bemoaned the waste of time and money on their resources and said over 50% was stupid cases like mine. Very fun. I've spent over 4 days of my life in that little room in Houston airport. Used to know some of the guys by name 🙄
