I remember often wondering "was that a bowel movement or a baby movement?!" Cause people kept talking about "little flutters", but what does that mean?! I'm pretty sure they were all baby movements when they were low center belly, but it took a while to dare to believe what I was feeling was actually our son!

That is a NICE crib! I like it! Does it have a shallower setting or is that more for when your baby is a bit older?

Those first few weeks with our son, I was having a hard time even getting him over an edge that was less than a foot tall, during the night, as he slept next to me but wanted food every 3h.
A couple of times I pumped and my husband was able to let me sleep more, or I asked him to put our son away cause my arm muscles were still asleep and refused to wake up 😅

I've heard of those moms/parents who are absolutely exhausted and often wonder how far away their baby slept from them, cause if I had needed to go to the next room, or even just get up and go sit in a chair next to the crib across the room, I'd probably been even more exhausted 😅
