Thomas Seyfried discusses the metabolic-mitochondrial theory of cancer with Mike Levin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWAwBOdsOAc

Pretty advanced material, but definitely worth watching. This is one of the most important breakthroughs in medicine in years, happening right before our eyes.

TLDW: Cancer is a metabolic disease, not a genetic one and you have to be retarded to think otherwise. Tumor progression can be slowed down, halted or even reversed by lowering glucose, increasing ketones (with diet and fasting) + targeting glutamine metabolism with drugs (this is strictly necessary!; diet alone won't suffice). There are lab experiments and human case studies that prove it beyond reasonable doubt.

Well, some cancers are genetically inheritable and we know certain genetic mutations do indeed trigger cancer. And case studies don't prove anything beyond reasonable doubt. Cancer is a complex disease, however it sure does seem like a ketogenic diet would be a good adjunct to treatment.

Love that science is catching up to what the Indigenous people always knew. There's a direct correlation with the pharma x agriculture x pesticide Parasite class and the plants they have "made extinct" or labelled "invasive" - their roots/leaves/compounds can cure cancer over a period of weeks.

I didn't realize people thought it was purely genetic. Always thought it was something you earned like getting fat. Yea, some people have genes that make them better at storing calories and and responding to hunger but every contestant on survival shows end up super skinny.
