Icecream bean seeds sprouting.
I love how they're all so different but each pot has 1 bean that was planted the same time. Some of these pots have multiple sprouts.
The name is misleading & everyone who planted one without trying "icecream bean" first was disappointed.
It's a nitrogen fixer & produces a lot of leafy & woody biomass for mulch (good fuel for a rocket stove). I treat it as a support plant & really love it.
It'll die back if you get frosts but resprouts when it warms up. They can also take a brutal trim & recover.
These will probably never get big enough to grow the seed pods that gives them their name. The same goes if you're in a cooler temperate climate. That's Ok because the pods are a bit useless except for growing more of them. I picked up these at a recent Bitcoin campout.
