From a concensus point of view I get it but culturally Bitcoin is still very out there. Perhaps Germans are more sensitive to monetary debasement with the history of Weimar era inflation and more recent EU spending?

Mexican living in Germany since almost 10 years. I wouldn't say they love following rules, it's more about pragmatism and efficiency. Germans hate chaos and love efficiency (see german cars). My two cents is that they suppose there's a reason why rules exist and know that as long as they follow the...
