First Brands Group - firm that owned all of these automotive parts brands went bankrupt toward the end of last year and started liquidating at the end of May apparently.

Hopefully some of these brands will get purchased and live on but this is HUGE for automotive parts. All of these brands are a big deal, but Cardone was one of the few re-manufacturing plants on the east coast.

Chances are, if your car has ever been to a repair shop for an oil change, air filter change, or brake pad replacement it had one or more of these brands. It may have even left the factory with parts from some of these brands.
