My case is very complicated. I have a kidney transplant, which means I depend on medication to keep my grafted kidney alive. Without it, my immune system would attack and eventually destroy the transplanted kidney.
In other words, I need to live somewhere safe and stable, where my medication will always be available and where I can access good medical care and special for blood test (becsuse some mass that i take can indeed great serious problems) Unfortunately, this means that some of the remote islands and isolated places where I would love to live are simply not realistic options for my situation.
On top of that, I’m Brazilian, and my entire family lives in the Northeast of Brazil. I also have a few apartments in Rio de Janeiro that I’m selling, so I need to go back in August—right into the eye of the SAA.
My husband is Norwegian, and we have a home in Norway. That comes with both advantages and disadvantages. The good part is that, during the summer months, the Kristiansand region gives me many of the characteristics I’m looking for: an ultra-strong magnetic field, near-zero declination, an anti-SAA position, high-quality hospitals, and a relatively low-EMF environment.
The downside is that these ideal conditions, especially the light and UVB environment I’m looking for, only exist for a relatively short part of the year.
So yes, my situation is complicated. Some of the places I would love to live, my husband simply doesn’t want to move to. And some of the places that he want to live(Rio de Janeiro) its out of question for me.
That said, the Philippines was actually one of my first choices to live.
