While making dinner tonight, I started wondering how many people actually cook at home.

For me, it’s almost every meal. If I’m home, I’m cooking. I rarely dinning out.

There’s just something about preparing your own food. It slows the day down. It feels intentional. It’s more creative which tends to be my natural state.

Cooking dinner is always my favorite part of the day.

In the global 81% when home off the road. Even in a semi, if gone for a couple weeks, most of my food is prepared at home by my dear wife!

Every night, eating out is reserved for family get togethers. However, I am beyond proficient in the kitchen and would say that I try to eat sushi when out because it's the only thing I would rather not attempt. Any go to recipes?

Definitely home cooked, homemade meals are the way to go. We are lucky enough to eat the vast majority of our meals that way thanks mostly due to my wife who is a wonderful cook.
