TikTok makes no sense to me. I am checking out the diet / food content to see if I could build an audience there for one of my apps, but the content feels so weird and low quality - literal slide shows of fake photos with thousands of likes. I don't understand what they are liking there. I feel like an old man out of touch with the mind-numbing reality of TikTok.

You haven't been completely brain rotted from birth. That's your superpower. It does keep you from understanding tikkytakky, but... That's a good thing. If a business model called b for a "presence" on TT, I'd rather just let it die.
