If I were going to someone who was informed on a subject that I wanted to know more about, I would try to ask complex questions to help me relate their knowledge to my existing understanding.

(In my extremely limited experience) asking an AI chatbot a similarly dense question results in roughly the same generic word vomit as a simpler question, except that the response sounds kind of defensive.
