Aristocracy means rule by the best. If those leaders are not noble and the best, they are not aristocrats.
In our education of history in the liberal west, the failings of monarchies is emphasized, but we need to recognize that for thousands of years and hundreds of nations, aristocratic governments were the norm. Far more success than failure came from aristocracy, but our liberal rulers want us to have a different worldview.
