I wanna get into 3d printing and a friend of mine gave me his Creality Ender 3 pro, but it needs some parts.

Should I buy some upgrade parts for it? Or should I use the money to buy a different 3d printer? #asknostr

Print parts for it. Then use it to print a new printer.

How much are the parts? Depends on your budget and intention. But ender 3 is an easy modifiable machine.

My first 3D printer was an Ender 3 Pro, and it was perfect and terrible at the same time. Getting it to print reliably after a couple of modifications was honestly a miserable affair. And it was still very temperamental even when I knew what I was doing. I ended up just buying a Prusa so I could ...
