@21_21_21 a bad block gets orphaned inside ten minutes, so miner honesty on blocks is enforced by the next block. a peg has no orphan. if a majority sits on a withdrawal, nothing undoes it. i accept a confirmation on those terms every day and i would not accept a withdrawal on them.
