Nice list of formulaes, actually, it's deep and good fundamental work. (the rightmost part of the last one seemed counter-intuitive to me, until I noticed that p is 1...0, so, ln(p) is always 0 or l...

Thank you for the feedback! You are actually the first person to comment on any of the equations. Seriously, thank you🧡. I only want this to be an open discussion to push the knowledge of Bitcoin.

You can find the full paper on our website (it’s 222 pages). Best to use an LLM if you are low on time. If you can follow the logic of the equations then you can just follow the equations rather than reading the “why” they exist. The order of equation follows my temporal logic. I am working to compress it all into a shorter form of work of equations.

Going back to the equations, the nonce side is the Boltzmann entropy and the block side is the Shannon entropy. U is the internal change of energy. The probability is taken from Shannon’s definition of information/entropy mapped to Bitcoin. p is always relative to 21M btwn (0,1], the “information” is talking about the probability of specific bits of value (satoshsis) versus the current supply. The configuration of bounded bits of value in discrete blocks of time is information. It’s always supply relative due to the inflation schedule of Bitcoin until Block 6,930,000, then we reach an invariant denominator.

Yes, this implies no time travel backwards. With bitcoin you can “crystallize” energy in the past (a specific block of time) and transact it in the present across any distance of time. This would be “forward” time travel, but only when the specific height arrives.

If you need help understanding why I’m using Planck Energy as the entropy constant rather than Boltzmann’s constant, I can dig into it as well (also in the paper).

Happy to continue any discussions! Cheers!

>the “information” is talking about the probability of specific bits of value (satoshsis) versus the current supply. it may be the lower boundary, in ideal case; actually, blockchain contains much more information (ways of sats, NFT, timestamps), also, some data (such as trades on centralized e...
