Every time I post positively about Nostr on X it’s crickets. Zero response.

But the minute I complain and say Nostr is “failing miserably” I get a ton of engagement and even a response from @gladstein

The algorithm on X is designed for negativity. I don’t think Nostr is failing miserably, I understand it’s a platform not a protocol, and this little experiment is proof that we need Nostr more than ever.

It's absolutely designed for negativity. But it didn't use to be like that. Twitter circa 2016 was actually a pretty interesting and vibrant place. Of course it wasn't profitable. Which maybe says more about the human psyche than anything else 😔
