Good question I’m not much of book guy… I did take some classes on film during college and read a book or two but mostly learned through watching other documentaries and content. Imitation and practice. But the story element… I think depends on doc vs narrative style and with doc you can’t do much pre production. Things are less scripted and therefore harder to fit the puzzle pieces together for a good story.

As I’ve gone deep into editing mode this past few months I’ve let my writing muscles atrophy.

Today I looked in my journal and the last entry was November 17…

So I took a break. Tried to write something coherent. Failed miserably and now I’m going back to editing.

We are living in an absolute clown show… the fact anyone buys this narrative is truly remarkable. Gas is more likely to go to $10 as a result of more expansionist campaigns than $1.
