I don't know why that npub is stuck, but... The block list gets weird at times. What @mrecheese 🧀 discovered is that you can use another nostr client to block (and then unblock if you want) a random npub and then you should be able to block that particular noub. It has something to do with block list caching, IIRC.

0xChat works for this. Just un-mute something, give it a minute to hit the relays, then mute it or something else again. That should fix it. Clearing your Amethyst cache occasionally seems to keep things smooth, also.
